See what institutional traders actually hold — updated every Friday.

Large traders must report their futures positions to the CFTC by law. WAVG turns that weekly filing into a clear bias per market — across indices, FX, metals, energy and bonds — and pairs it with scored S&P 500 fundamentals, congressional trades, dark-pool volume and realtime news.

Fair questions, straight answers.

What is the COT report?

Every large trader in US futures markets must report positions to the CFTC, the US regulator. Each Friday the CFTC publishes the aggregate: how many contracts asset managers, leveraged funds, dealers and other groups hold long and short in each market. It's published by law, for free — and ignored by most retail traders because the raw file is unreadable. WAVG makes it readable.

How fresh is the data?

COT data updates within minutes of the CFTC release every Friday (positions as of Tuesday, the official cutoff). Fundamentals rebuild daily Tuesday–Friday. News and filings flow in continuously as they're published.

Do I need to be an experienced trader?

No. Every signal comes with a plain-language explanation naming the factors behind it, and every metric has an inline explainer. Experienced traders get the raw numbers; newer traders get the reasoning.

What exactly is free?

The weekly COT bias for every market, positioning charts, the macro live-news feed, the economic calendar and dark-pool flow — real data, not a demo. Paid tiers add the S&P 500 fundamentals ratings, full ledgers, histories and profiles, plus real-time political news with push alerts. No credit card needed, so there's no accidental subscription.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Billing runs month to month through Stripe; cancel in the customer portal in one click. Your plan runs out at the end of the paid period.

Is this investment advice?

No. WAVG is a data and analytics terminal: it shows what is publicly filed and puts it in context. What you do with that information is your decision, and markets carry risk.
